A Heartfelt Apology and a Renewed Commitment to Our Science and Tea Community

Hello, dear readers!

I hope this message finds you well. It’s been a while since I last posted, and I want to take a moment to sincerely apologize for my absence. Life has taken a whirlwind turn as I have been fully immersed in my now completed studies for nursing and working as a nurse, which has understandably kept me quite busy. But I want you to know that even amidst the chaos, my passion for science and tea has never waned.

During this time, I’ve ventured deeper into the complexities of nursing and have become acutely aware of the relevance of scientific research in our everyday lives. My work in a colorectal surgery ward has opened my eyes to the critical advancements being made in healthcare, especially in the realm of novel cancer therapies. The experiences I’ve gained have only fueled my fascination with various research developments, particularly in areas such as Alzheimer’s research and neuroscience.

With that said, I want to reconnect with all of you who share a love for science and the refreshing comfort of tea. In light of my busy schedule and newfound insights as a nurse, I am making a vow to you: starting this week, I will commit to writing a blog post each week that will delve into a fascinating journal article related to research developments. My aim is to bridge the gap between my nursing duties and my passion for scientific exploration, and I hope to share that journey with you all.

I look forward to sharing interesting findings, discussing emerging therapies, and perhaps even offering a fresh perspective on how these developments affect our health and well-being. And of course, I’ll make sure to have a warm cup of tea by my side while I write!

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this busy period in my life. I’m excited to reignite our discussions and continue exploring the wonders of science together. Let’s embark on this journey of discovery and learning once again!

Stay tuned for our first article recap next week, and, as always, feel free to share any topics or articles you’d like me to cover.

Warmly,

Shannon-Marie
